In 2019 I started my career in HR. In the few years that I have been working in the HR department, I have gained experience and obtained my PDL (Practical diploma payroll administration) and VPS
(Vakadministratie Payroll Services) degrees.
Shortly after I started working in HR, I noticed that there were many internationals with questions regarding Dutch labour law and had no clue where to find correct explanations. Subjects like
paid maternity leave or transition allowance were not clearly explained. The majority of the Dutch population does not fully understand Dutch labour law. So, I could only imagine how frustrating
it must be for expats.
For that reason, I have created this website HR4Expats. I will admit I do not know everything regarding HR and Dutch labour law since it is so incredibly broad. Nonetheless, I will do my best to
provide you with as much information as I possibly can.
